Minor Glitch

When my R&D's pull the next research item from the queue, the R&D shop doesn't show the gear. The hover text also doesn't show it working on anything. When I click on the R&D shop itself, then I can see what it's working on, and the countdown ticking. Then, I got booted, had to manually come back in via FB, and the gears were back. I'll keep an eye on the behavior in the future. Then, the next time R&D finished, the gear again didn't appear, but did appear once I refreshed the page. Also, without the sidebar that was added for the factories, the R&D queue is tricky, at best... I need to memorize what I've already added to a given R&D queue?
