Posted on Apr 14, 2013 This would be an interesting ranking. Call it what you want. Would contain a list of rich young players. Maybe in ranges, such as age 18-21, 22-29, 30-39, 40-49 etc but only contain players that have above $XXXX amount of networth. And perhaps also contain the number of companies currently owned and player cash, among other listings, for the players that make the list.This could showcase the ability to successfully build an entire corporation, not just a single company support by an already well-to-do CEO. Could also showcase business knowledge in the ability to take advantage of various markets, or even just good/positive business practices that have worked well. This could also be a good resource for new players, where they could find other new players who are successful, that may be able to offer advise if they are willing to help new players. I would guess that many/some/most of the players on the top of the "Top Networth" rankings and the like, would not be too willing to be bothered to help their potential competition via PMs and such, along with the possibility of them having used bots/scripts/other exploits (stock market for example) to obtain their networth/ranking in the first place Just a rough idea very open to comments/additions/haterade. Btw for anyone who doesn't know, the age displayed on your character's profile page is actually how long you've been playing/how old your account is. Everyone starts at age 18 when they create their account. Not sure how fast you age in the game though. Maybe 1 game year for each week that passes in real life? |
