There's also an awful lot of filtered water in the world that cost the owners nothing whatsoever, since it was generated automatically by a database adjustment Scott made.

So: lots of surplus filtered water, not a lot of use for filtered water, market flooded with incredibly cheap filtered water that most folks aren't going to buy anyway.

The stuff it is used for like beverages, are only like Q10% water dependent.

Sorbet. Don't forget the powerful sorbet industry.
To tell the truth, I never really liked the filtered water concept anyway. Kinda lame, really. And now that it is totally lame, and I have spent a bunch of cash researching and making it, I actually wish it would just go away, along with the bottled water product.

Just sayin...

Yea I think you get like 90% back. Thats happened to me before when I realized I tried to vertically integrate too fast.
