not really. by the end of the week, i'll have 400 m2 of power plants and wells in one of my companies. 5 cent electricity and 4 cent water will be available on a daily basis.

I'm sure the actual electricity suppliers would be better able to say who bought out all the electricity. Any attempt to "buy out" those markets is doomed to failure anyway. All you'll accomplish is making the electricity suppliers money and then sitting on way more electricity than you need.

Given that the game doesn't calculate "cost of goods sold" into your daily balance sheet, buying several weeks worth of raw materials (incl electricity) doesn't make sense since you'll "write off" all the purchases on your first day (and if you go negative, you don't get to carry the loss forward) and then pay taxes on the profits going forward with no offsetting deduction for cost of goods sold.

I don't see why anyone is terribly bothered by this, it's not like there's a big draught of electricity. It'll be back on for seven cents in no time.

electricity is one of the cheapist market to enter, a small 500m2 well/mine and a power plant.

added some at 0.09, i can add more if need.
