The economy of scale bonus to production means that you only use 99k bottles instead of the 138k bottles you would have. At least with bottles you can pretend people are bringing them in for recycling or something. I'm really not sure how when I make lots of whole chickens, I use less than a chicken per chicken... it's best not to think too hard about it. :)
