Posted on Apr 12, 2012 I'm not sure what's going on here, but it would seem that on my work computer, the login doesn't work anymore. Scott, you gave me a standard login username to use to get around the FB login, and I was able to use the e-mail you sent to my work to activate it and log in fine from there. Seems the following day though, the standard login didn't work anymore. I don't get any kind of error, it just kicks me back to the main EoS page without logging me in. I'm wondering if the FB login is still somehow interfering with it, because if I just tether the internet through my smartphone, it works fine, and I can switch back to the work internet and stay logged in all day just fine. It's just a little annoying having to do this. Please take a look at this if and when you get a chance. :) |

Posted on Apr 12, 2012 Check the console in the developer tools (if you don't know how on your browser, let me know which one and I can tell you how) when you go to login. If it is caused by the FB login, you will see an error in the console.

Posted on Apr 12, 2012 (Last edited on Apr 12, 2012) Here's the log. It does look like it's still trying to check with Facebook for something, and giving me Syntax errors because it's blocked here at work. I'm pretty sure that on my home PC, I can still login with the FB login button as well as the standard login.[13:00:22.800] GET http://www.ratjoy.com/index-login.php?redirect=/eos/ [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 608ms] [13:00:23.453] Unknown property 'user-select'. Posted on Apr 12, 2012 Firefox 11.02) [15:39:10.132] GET http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js [HTTP/1.0 200 OK 31ms] That is all it shows. Our work network uses iPrism for website blocking, but with me using the NoScript plugin for FireFox, it doesn't even show the iPrism page that normally shows up when a website is blocked, even though I have all scripts unblocked for the EoS website. |

Posted on Apr 12, 2012 (Last edited on Apr 12, 2012) Given your situation, would it help if you simply block anything related to facebook.com?Unless I'm mistaken, all scripts necessary for EoS are hosted on ratjoy.com, the facebook login script is not. |

Posted on Apr 12, 2012 (Last edited on Apr 12, 2012) Ok, I re-blocked Facebook with NoScript, and the login still does not work. Here is the new log, there are no more syntax errors about Facebook.[16:23:50.103] GET http://www.ratjoy.com/index-login.php?redirect=/forum/topic/ login-issue/ [HTTP/1.1 200 OK 842ms] [16:23:50.982] Unknown property 'user-select'. Posted on Apr 12, 2012 By tethering just so I can actually log back in haha.I've tried to clear my cookies and everything before to make sure that wasn't the problem, but I haven't tried it again since re-blocking Facebook. Back at home now, so I'll give that a shot tomorrow. Maybe I should try to create a new account with a regular login and see if I still have issues. I'm thinking it must be due to the fact that my login was original a FB login, and now it's still tied to both, since I seem to be able to still login with the FB login button. |

I checked it while at lunch, there's no interference between the two once you block fb with NoScript. |

Posted on Apr 12, 2012 (Last edited on Apr 12, 2012) Hmm, maybe it's iPrism that's interfering with the login script then, maybe there's something that it doesn't like about it. If that's the case, then probably nothing that can be one, thanks for checking it out though.

Posted on Apr 13, 2012 (Last edited on Apr 13, 2012) OK, I did a little more testing here at work. Since you've changed the login script as described in another threat, it works just fine now. :)
