Hello,

i didn't play for a while so i restarted some companies.
However when i visited the B2B i was in shock.
Water and Electricity selling for 6 to 7 !!
Come on, calculate...

If you would produce a week-worth of Common beans,
Blueberries or any other straight-up sellable product
you can easily see, that you'd better sell the water
on the B2B market.

I saw Bonsai plants being sold for wasp 29.28 in the markets,
and no matter how long your productiontime is, there
is still about 5 water each into them.
Five times six is still 30 to me.

So i wonder what happened here ...

People are speculating on electricity, water and natural gas. They buy up all the reasonable priced stuff and list for a ridiculously high price. If you need some, just message me. I'll gladly get you some for 0.06-0.08 on electricity or water.

Sure i understand that people/player are speculating.
Miscalculations are easily made and so you might have a shortfall
on electricity or water at some point. Especially during the bigger
upgrade fases.

I had to start out on buying some expensive electricity and
built up a well, mine and powerplant on short runs of 10 minutes
to stock up water and electricity for myself.

I think many a player could consider building just a well/power plant-
company and turn on their own water/gas/electricity back-up plan.
Just in case you run short in one of your companies.

If you would sell a weeks production of water and electricity from
that company at a price of 6, you could run that company for over
almost two years all expenses paid.

And keep in mind that speculators are forcing more people to expand or produce their own. This will only lead to a future glut once speculators stop buying this stuff. The last time this happened, prices on these 3 products dropped so low, people couldn't make much profit when electric and water dropped to .03 or .04 per unit.

Yes, it happens. Probably some sinuscurve over longer timespan.
Thanks for the warning though.
I just produce some excess electricity now to expand quicker.
And on the storesales i'll be happy to buy the surplus when
the price will drop to .o4~.o5 once more.

put up a req on the markt at .07 I dump a few billion of each every time i log on. (almst every time) as even i need water.

i make 1t water a week. in my main setup. also nat gas and petro out of same company... so 1t a month is actual. then i do a week of natgas, week of petro..then the last week i decide. whatever i dont use, i dump to market. the more Req up at .07, the more YOU can get. (instead of the scummy pricers)
